|

Hello,
I just arrived in Taipei City, and am starting the process of looking for an English teaching position (hopefully) in Taipei. Does anyone know where I can find a fairly comprehensive list of English language schools in Taipei City that I could check out (preferably near the Ximen MRT Station, as that's the approximate location where I'm currently staying)?
-Thanks
P.S. I have no language teaching experience thus far (only a Bachelor's degree), and so the schools would need to be ones that do not require a teaching credential from applicants' home countries |

Hess, Kojen and Shane are the one's who hire people without experience and will train you up for a week before your start.
The problem is if you apply for a job they want a demo to see your teaching ability, and if you do a demo and have never taught before the chances are you will crash and burn and won't get the job
Also try here for some subbing work to keep you going while looking for work.

Here's a list of language schools in Taipei I created a LONG time ago:

However, this has not been updated since the late 90's....don't expect too many of the numbers to work... |
