Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has some information/ wisdom regarding the feasibility of obtaining employment in Spain on a working holiday visa from New Zealand? The scheme is quite new so I worry that employers may not recognise it? Also, it only allows me to legally work for any one employer for three months. Pretty much every job vacancy that I have looked at requires either EU citizenship or a North American accent, neither of which I have. I was going to just get the visa anyway, even though my chances of putting it to use seem a bit slim, but it turns out that getting the visa is about 6 times more expensive than I had anticipated so now I'm not so sure whether it's worth it.
My other, er, setback is that I only have a beginner level of Spanish. Do many esl jobs there require fluency in Spanish? I will have a CELTA qualification though so that is a plus
Any thoughts on any of this would be very much appreciated. |
