ESF schools are highly regarded, and provide good working conditions for their staff.
I don't know that they employ any specific ESL staff; in order to gain admission students must demonstrate fluent English.
Lots of people want to work there, so they can really pick and choose their teachers. BEd or other relevant degree + PGDE, IB training at the appropriate level, QTS, and several years subsequent classroom experience, should get you to the starting blocks.
Am not familiar with HK Academy; will leave others to comment. |

ESF schools are good. You would work hard and get paid well - difficult to get a job with them, though, as a lot of people want to work there.
Not sure about conditions, etc for HK Academy, but I know they're currently building a campus in Sai Kung. |
