You need a password. Imagine that. Light rails run regularly for those that can't manage to waddle between buildings, though heaving ones self up the stairs to the train platform must put equal strain on the heart. This 50 something year old, along with many other middle-aged direct hires, manages just fine on foot. Those of us that can't stomach the cafeteria food pack our own lunch. There really isn't that much to whine about, but there are some who seem to do a lot of it anyway. |
No shortage of things to whine about... |

I'm not whining, only when I'm dining on junk food.
Yes. My better half does pack her lunch, and has now been told not to bring her kettle to work. How inconvenient! Are they afraid of electrical fires! I told her to take it and be a rebel. It is quite tiny good for one cup of tea or coffee. She said she will boil her water outside the office. She is still complying but I was thinking that she should just boil her water in the office anyways. F-them all if she can't have her own tea in her own office.

scot, do you think Princess Noura and her Uncle did not think about this?
Of course they did.
They opted for a drivless metro with nice tinted windows (so that you will not see inside! ), nice calligraphy design, and wireless control from the boss in Riyadh.

My question to the boss in Riyadh is:
In case of an accident, for example the drivless metro hits a camel, how he is going to handle this? Is it possible using wireless control to handle an accident?
I doubt it. |

I can now rest, assured that the honour of the ladies at PNU is not tainted by the gaze of male train-drivers. |

The wife has talked to one of the drivers of the monorail. She is a female non-Saudi driver who has gone to Denmark for the operation training of the transit system at PNU.

Sure looks like it. I see they 'hint' at accommodations being shared. |

It says a salary of
"between $3,000 - $4,000pcm"
What is "pcm"?
I love how they are continually inventing new 'forms' that probably the majority of us have never seen before.

What a bizarre usage... has anyone ever heard of any organization that pays by a "month" that isn't a "calendar month"? To me it makes them sound clueless... Any place with an accountant... or even a bookkeeper in the pay department can calculate the pay for that one month that may not be a complete month.

Sicklyman you're not getting it..'mericans created engrish, us unfortunate fools from the land of Shakespeare and Dickens are merely here to learn how the language should be used, from a country with no history, no heritage beyond Friends and the Simpsons and no...the list goes on and on.. |
