|
Hi,
Might be thinking of making a move soon and was wondering how high/middle/low I should be aiming.
I have a PGCE (English), BA Joint Hons in English/French and a MA TESOL.
Most of my teaching experience is TESOL though I did work for a couple of years as a language assistant in France in my early 20s. My French might need a few months brushing up
Who are the best employers? Any advice
thanks |

Hmm, 'best employers'
I think that teachers that have found a sweet deal either by having a good employer and/or good working/contract conditions most likely won't be giving that info up easily. Those kind of opportunities are found through networking.
Most schools (language, private/int'l, etc.) are essentially the same - they offer the same type of work for similar contracts and within a similar pay range.
It's really what *you* will accept/tolerate in terms of your preferred working environment. What works for one person is unacceptable for another. |
