What are my chances of getting a teaching job in Hong Kong. I'm an Asian American in my mid 30's who can speak excellent english with no accent. I only have a two year degree, TEFL cert. and a few computer engineer Cert and very little teaching experiences. I know I have to start somewhere but what are my chances. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

Should I start in a country with lower requirements to gain teaching experiences and hope to get a better job later on? |

If you don't already hold HKPID (and if you don't know what that is, then you don't), then you really don't stand a chance of getting a working visa with only a 2 year degree, whether or not you have teaching experience.
Realistically, I would look elsewhere. |
