I will be heading to St. Petersburg in Sept./Oct. I got my CLETA in Moscow in 2007 and have over 3 years experience teaching. University degree yada yada... I am in Thailand now and wondering if it is better to try to line something up now or wait to find work when I get there.
I have put my time in at McSchools. They were great for getting set up, but I am looking for something different (better pay, no split shifts, etc.) now that I have things figured out, can find my own place to stay, speak the language, etc..

So just wondering if anyone has specific advice on good schools. Getting something set up now, so I can get my visa worked out, or going in on a tourist visa then finding work once I'm there. I have already done a search on yandex for local schools and am sending out my CV.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
