|
|
Hi again
I've been told that it is impossible to get affordable single-occupancy housing in Barcelona. I, however, can't stand house / flat shares. I'll live in a tiny lockable room on a coridoor of tiny lockable rooms if I must, but share a house or flat with strangers is something I never want to do again. Call me anti-social but I'm only anti-social when it comes to housing. I'm checking the real estate pages but I would love some direct opinions. What are my options?
Sorry if this has been asked before but the search function isn't working again. |

Again, "affordable", much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. What's the maximum you want to pay? |

500 euros per month? Depends on what I'm earning of course. I put accomodation above most other things so I'll pay as much as I can for my own place. |

Yes: all but impossible to find your own accommodation in Barcelona for under 700 euros a month (and add in several months deposit), with salaries not usually above 1100-1200 euros a month for around 25 hours. |

I just want a lockable room really. What are more private alternatives to house or flat shares? |

Valencia is much more reasonably priced. I'd 1600 net there last year for a 25 hour week and paid 350 euro a month for a studio in the old town. Looking around there are still options like that for example valencia.loquo.com/ps/vivienda/particular/particular-valencia-capital-83m-3-habitaciones/1847287 |

Thanks! I'll check that out. Anyone know about real estate prices in Zaragoza? |
