| "Salaam aleikum" should, accordiung to the Pious Ones, only be used between Muslims. Christian-Muslim greetings should be non-religious. |

I have yet to have a "Pious One" (my preferred choice of taxi drivers, BTW) tell me to shut my yap and use a non-Muslim greeting.
Come to think of it, nobody has ever told me to say anything different. That line usually comes from non-Egyptians. |
