Hi, I've tried doing a search for this but nothing came up. Can anyone give me some recommendations for learning Vietnamese in Saigon, preferably cost friendly and of decent quality?
Thanks |

I studied Vietnamese at the "Friendship School" on Vo Thi Sau Street.
The price was very reasonable. You can do a small group for a dollar cheaper or do private lessons 1-on-1. I did the one-on-one and at the time I paid $5 us per hour. I thought the teacher and the book were very good.
The school is now above a clothing shop. It is near the intersection of Le Quy Don and Vo Thi Sau, just a couple building east of the "Bao Tang Phu Nu" museam (Women's museum).
I believe the Address is 100 or near to "100" Vo Thi Sau. Go to this area and go ask about the "Friendship school." It's above clothing shop or other kind of shop now. There is a small plaque with the name on the building.
I still have the director's mobile number. If you want this number you can PM me.
Here is a website for one school, but I did not attend it:

Both are good value...... go along and see what they have to offer. They are across the road from each other. |
