|
|
Hi,
Does anybody know if it is possible to leave Japan after 3 years, obtain the rather large pension lump sum, then return for another stint and be eligible for another rebate further down the line?
I ask because I am approaching the 3 year mark, and I would like to stay a few more years at least, but it will be somewhat disheartening paying into a pension scheme knowing that I won't see any of the contributions in the future.
(For those who don't know, these pension reimbursements are capped at 3 years).
Many thanks,
Rich |

The government says you can't, but I believe some people may have reported otherwise. The key is in starting from scratch with a new alien card and new visa, I think. |
