I'm looking for infos on teaching in Switzerland at one of the international schools; not as an ESL teacher though but to teach at the elementary level.
Work visa is not an issue, and by the time I move I will have an M.A. in Ed. and a K-6 licensure. I also have a B.A. in Ed. to teach MFL.
And I'm not talking about getting a teaching position at Le Rosey or the Instiut Alpinum. The 'normal' international schools in Zurich or Zug, etc. will do.
If someone has experience there I'd love to hear about it. |

Wrong forum probably. I know a bit about the (relatively very small) EFL market in Switzerland, but I doubt anyone here can give you info on content teaching.
Only useful info would be that openings are likely to be rare; these jobs attract long-termers and there is little turnover in general. |

I sort of thought that it's not the best forum to ask this question and I'm also not interested in teaching EFL there but want to teach in the general classroom.
Just thought I give it a try, cause you never know ;-)
But thanks for responding anyways! |

Try www.cois.org for a list of International schools in various countries.
Click on "Schools"
Then click on "School Directory" on the lower left side of the page
Enter "Switzerland" in the Country.
And, hop, Bob's your uncle ! |
