There's a push for an outright ban on the traditional sport here in DF, and it wouldn't surprise me if it went through. It isn't very popular here anymore. The last couple of times I've gone, the 40,000 capacity stadium seemed to draw very few people and of those in attendance, I didn't see too many that were under 60 years old. |

| I'm far from being the activist type (ban this, ban that!) but I have to say, as far as animals are concerned, I'm on their side; they deserve much more than many humans! I, for one, wouldn't miss it. |

| Went to a bull "fight" once... It is not sport, but actually blood art. It is not something easy to understand to the so-called "developed" people in nations like the USA where people are often treated worse than animals... |

It wouldn't be a bad thing for it to come to a complete end. The only surprising thing is that such a practice has lasted as long as it has.
