Hi,
I have found myself in an awkward situation regarding my vietnamese visa.
I am currently (saturday) in Luang Prabang, and i am due to fly to Hanoi on Monday (13.30).

I do not have my visa sorted for arrival and have just been told that the tour operators need 1 working day to get it.

I have tried speaking to my course provider (Apollo) but have found it really difficult to get hold of anyone who can help.

I was wondering if any of you would have any suggestions?
(except for not being so stupid in the future...)

Rally appreciate any help,
Jack

As an experienced Apollo teacher (where the best become better!) You should know that everything is shut until Monday because of Tet.

Your only hope is to get a rush invitation letter off a tour operator website (there are some that can do it in 4 hours) and hope that you can get it and print it off in time for your flight.

Good luck!

Go online, find some visa-on-arrival sites send out some emails asking them if they can drop off or send your visa-on-arrival to your port of entry.

If that cannot be done you might have an issue.

thanks for the info, the vietnamese embassy is around the corner so i will try and get a rushed visa on the morning of the flight from them.
If that fails, i will call an online place and get them to do it for me.

Thanks again for the help,
Jack

I presume you are taking the CELTA course at Apollo.

As noted by BenE, this is Tet.

Best to wait.

Good luck.
