I've been trying to do a search but to no avail. Does anyone have first-hand or relatively fresh information on Assumption University? They have a zillion degree programs mentioning Western universities at random and their website is buggy.... They have a M.S. in biotechnology for crying out loud, which is actually cool! I went through a few of the course lists and there are actually more electives available than I would imagine.
So far I have made my choice for a Master's in Bangkok, but its always good to know a backup school just in case. Anything on A.U. (ABAC) is much appreciated! The reviews I have found online are all a mix of good and bad... |

| I don't know if an Assumption University Master's is accredited by any Western accrediting organizations. That is the crux of the issue. If it's not, then it's only good for getting a job in Thailand which is not too helpful. Just off of the top of my head, I don't think they are. Assumption has a Doctorate in Education that I think is accredited and Ramkamhaeng has a Bachelor's degree that is now accredited but a Master's I am unsure of. |
