It looks like my wife is going to be offered a job with cfbt Brunei. I am concerned about the fact that husbands can not get a dependent visa. Our plan was for me to stay out home and take care of our baby and pursue a masters degree. I am an American so it is not possible for me to work for cfbt. My wife is Canadian.
My concerns:
1. Would I be able to get local health insurance?
2. Would I be able to drive in Brunei?
3. Would I ever be able to get legal status not just a tourist visa?
4. I have taught public school in Korea for the last five years and I have been a teacher trainer there for the last two years. I have a bachelor of Science from a good university and 120 in class TESOL. Are there any other ESL jobs available to Americans with my qualifications in Brunei? |
