Hello everyone,

I'm considering leaving Japan to try to teach in SA. Regent Recruitment has been in contact with me but I can't seem to find information from people who have had experience working for them. The salary and benefits package seems pretty good but the 40 hours a week with 30 classroom contact hours seems like a bit much. The split shifts don't sound that attractive either. The curriculum is apparently based on the Cambridge, Longman, and New Headway Series so lesson planning may not take that long.

Does anyone currently work for them? Any bit of information would be helpful. Thank you.

Never heard of 'em. But it's obvious they're recruiting for some Saudi contracting company. You'd have to research that particular entity if you plan to go ahead with an interview. Frankly, the ad states you only need a degree, TEFL cert, and one year of experience, which isn't a good sign. Neither is teaching 30 hours a week. Can we say "sketchy?"

They are recruiting for AETG. I got a reply from them with their usual forms and it says AETG on the letter head. What are other contractors that are recruiting besides Edex, AETG, for Jan 2013.
