Rejected offers...
CityU - 25,000 HKD (no housing allowance)
PolyU - around 30,000 HKD (no housing allowance, heaviest workload, 20+ contact hours per week!)
SCAD HK - 35,000 HKD per month (no housing allowance) Disorganised!

I hear that universities in Hong Kong require long hours and give teachers short vacations. Salaries have also fallen in recent years. Doesn't seem all that attractive as a potential place to teach. I hear Macau is much of the same, with fewer options. |
