| Would anyone care to share your school's Facebook page and/or website? My current workplace has no website and a nascent FB page and I told them I'd do a little research for helping them build these out. I have experience as a webmaster for nonprofits in the US but that's from the pre-Facebook days. I suspect the school's goals are twofold: marketing to prospective students/parents and letting current students/parents show off a little. Also, the school has concerns about respecting the children's privacy as far as posting photos/names. If you have any recommended best practices for this, I welcome that as well. |

| If the page is for a school then there's no reason to publish any student's names. As for photos, age of the students might be a factor. If the students and their parents aren't worried about posting images of their kids online then no worries. Just respect the wishes of those who don't want their kids photo published. This should address those two concerns. |
