Hello,
First, thanks again to Gobump, and thanks ot MarcusK, for your useful tips.
Another question, that popped up in my mind the other day, was, whether there is any one, who knows, whether potential employers tend to pay attention to, at which (teacher training) institute you received your teacher training?
If you, for instance, would like to work for "The International House", do you then stand a better chance of being employed by them, if you have been trained there as well ? (instead of at one of the many other teacher traing schools in the world).
This question does not only apply to "The International House", which I just used as an example, but in general.
When it comes to competence, of course, this is not to be expected, for the level of the training is (basically and officially) exactly the same everywhere.
But are there maybe other considerations involved here as well, like different teaching styles, methods, philosophies, ideologies, or just simply the normal market competition for customers?
Thanks for any help, tips or information.
With best regards
