Currently, when I skype, I generally use earbuds and my laptop's internal mic. (The use of earbuds prevent feedback for the person on the other end.)
I'm headed toward online teaching and barring any product-specific requirements by an employer, does anyone have any microphone recommendations?
Alternatively, I have a friend who teaches online and she uses a headset that includes both the audio and mic components. For those of you with online teaching experience, is the headset on the teacher off-putting for the students?
Thanks in advance. |

I use a pair of lightweight headphones for comfort's sake.
Any reasonable quality desk mic will solve your problem |

A belated thanks for your response. I did end up buying an HP headset/mic that seems adequate. Not very expensive - only about $25 I believe - I keep thinking I'll take it back if it doesn't work out, but so far, it seems to do what it needs to do. |
