I don't want to list details, but overall, I'm starting to feel serious burnout.
However, I'm not sure if it's a burnout with teaching, Korea or teaching IN Korea.
I've been here for 4 years, but the last one has been difficult at a high school with no curriculum (I don't really enjoy just making things up as I go; rather I'd like a system I believe in with the freedom to slightly modify) and racial prejudice. I've been thinking about teaching as a career, but now I'm disenfranchised with everything.
Has anyone had a similar experience? What did you do about it?
