Hi there. Havent been on here for a while but would like some advice.I have 6yrs experience teaching in both oil and military contexts in the gulf. I have a wife who is a school teacher in the uk system. We would like to start work again in the middle east later this yr . Have been called by people recruiting for aramco but am Interested in what other opportunities or ideas are out there . Would pay to live on compound if in saudi. Would like to be in the east i think. Just dont want to take the first thing to come along and regret it. |

Direct hire with ARAMCO is now very unusual. Jobs with contractors often of dubious quality. I would say if you want a medium or long-term job go for KFUPM, where you get stability and nice holidays to make up for the average salary.

Accommodation is on campus which is not quite as luxurious as a compound but does have certain advantages. Many teachers at KFUPM have wives teaching at BISAK and other schools in Khobar/Dammam. |
