I'm about to sign a really good contract for a college (Part time hours for full time wages Razz ) Only potential problem is that it's on a large campus about 20 minutes from Anseong, which itself is an hour's bus ride away from Seoul.

Is there actually anything to do in Anseong?

Cheers!

Are you going to work at Chung ang uni? Anseong is a small farm city but there are are around 15 waygook teachers here that I know of. We meet up once or twice a week for a beer or some Galbi. Its not too bad, can think of worse places to be. There's a hof called the Ice Rack, teachers usually meet there on Wednesday nights. If you come to Anseong, rock up.... Cool

Anseong is pretty close to Seoul, about 90 minutes I'd say. Suwon is close, with more foreigner friendly things to do than Anseong. OH, and the huge Osan air base isn't that far away too. Better than Iteawon for shopping they say. (But who shops in Iteawon anyways?) And if you enjoy your co-workers, then Anseong is the place to be...

I, and two others (Both guys. 1 American, and 1 Canadian) are going to be starting at Dong-Ah Broadcasting college (10 -15 minutes drive from Anseong) starting September 15th (although we're moving in at the end of the week)

I went past Chung ang Uni on my way to Anseong today. Looks plush. Do you work there?

I can think of far worse places to be too. Here for instance (Currently crashing in Wangsimni. Very crowded, dirty, polluted etc etc) The campus I'll be living/working on is really beautiful, and it only takes an hour and a bit by shuttle bus to Seoul for the weekend stint.

I'll let my new co-workers know, and I'm sure we'll come by some time soon. Thanks!!!
