Hi all, I'm just curious to know where all the 7 branches of CDI are located. I am having great difficulty pinning them down. If anyone knows of them or at least one or 2, I would greatly appreciate the help.
P.S. anyone else that has inside info on CDI, I am seriously considering working for a branch as opposed to a franchise, anyone know of any good franchises of CDI to work for, b/c I've heard most of them are not very nice to work for.
Cheers,

I finally found the answer to my own question, speaking with "John Lee HR Consultant"
Here are the locations of the 7 branches if anyone was ever curious except myself:
1. Chungdam Chungdam (청담) station on line 7.
2. Daechi Daechi (대치) station on line 3.
3. Mokdong Mokdong (목동) station on line 5.
4. Pyeong Chon Pyeong Chon (평촌) station on line 4.
5. Jung Gye Jung Gye (중계) station on line 7.
6. Songpa Mong Chon Toh Sung (몽천토성) station on line 8.
7. Bundang Seo Hyun (서현) station on the Bundang (yellow) subway line. |

As CDI expands the old, clear divide between Branch and Franchise is becoming more blurred.
There now exist full Branches that are Franchised. In the olden days, Franchises oftered a limited selection of courses. Now, the ones that do are called "Campuses". But some Franchises now offer a full selection of courses and follow all CDI protocols - they are even on the main CDI network etc... They are called "Branches" just like Chungdahm, Junggye, Songpa, etc... Sometimes they are called Branchises. In many cases, IIRC, the main company has actually purchased a minority equity in them.
I am not saying there is no difference between working for CDI proper and for a franchise anymore. But it is harder to generalize the differences accross the board now. The quality of some Branchises is pretty competitive with that at a true Branch and sometimes the pay or prospects can be better depending on your situation. In any event, that is my take nowadays. |
