Good to see a few Celtic fans on the board and a lack of 'gers!!

For the Liverpool fans.......

There also seems to be a few Liverpool fans on this board (Me, ratslash and snowblind for a start). I happen to remember Holyjoe's post about the upstairs bar at Holywood Bar and Grill in Itaewon. It's run by an American Liverpool fan who will show any Liverpool game if it's on during opening hours. This could well mean Sunday matches only. So the game would be on about 12:00am Korea.

Any 'Pool fans who want to watch a match there sometime let's get together, form a mini-kop, and cheer them on!

Contact me if you love the Reds!

You'll get live Saturday 3pm Premiership games on in Korea too (though at midnight or 11pm usually).
The boy in Hollywood's is great for a football chat, and he's a big follower of the K-league too. The odd foreign K-league player drops by every now and then, so if you fancy chatting with Sasa Drakulic or Denis Laktionov (new name Lee Song-Nam when he becomes fully naturalised) then it's the place to go..

Indebted to you for the information.

By-the-by, any of you 'Bhoys' venturing to the major 'get-together' mentioned in this forum?

hope to see a table of green (and red from the Liverpudlian aficionados)...

Keith

You Celtic fans know you can see their American tour matches on telly here?

I saw a re-run of the Manchester United game last night, and right now I'm watching the Celtic v Boca Juniors game (Chris Sutton just opened the scoring)

These games are on the SBS Sports channel. It's channel 32 on my cable package but no doubt it varies depending on where you are.

hollywoods in itaewon show the games. the only time you will ever catch me in itaewon is if there is a game i want to watch!

didn't read all the posts. can't be bothered so sorry if i repeat what has already been said...

english league is by far the best league. it is the most skilful and entertaining. yeah, spanish football has some of the best players in the world. this is simply because they outbid any other teams for the top players. fifty million pounds for zidane. there is only one team in england that could afford (or maybe 2 now with chelsea's new owner). chelsea put a bid in for stevie g for over fifty mill but liverpool (thankfully!) told them to f'off or i'm gonna give you a merseyside kiss! italian league - yawn, yawn, all a bunch of pansies!

hey, has anyone else noticed the increase in real madrid shirts worn by koreans on the streets of seoul? just shows how many man united supporters there are out there as opposed to beckham supporters! beckham is a an overated player. all he can do is pass and hit a damn good free kick. he has no pace and no skill to round players. gazza in his heyday or beckham now? gazza everytime!

can't wait for the new season. we might actually win something more than the worthless cup!!! if you can't get to see the game check out the website of the local radio station. at least you will be able to listen to the game.

take care.

It took me a while, but I managed to get a job in Sokcho. I'm happy about that cos while in Hong Kong I developed a strange bald patch...Maybe the slower pace of life in Sokcho will help eleviate the stress. Ok, my question is - will I get to see any premiership football in Sokcho - if so, where?

My old favorite for radio commentary, Five Live, don't web-cast live matches anymore. (you can't beat an excited Alan Green!!)

Occasionally Five Live does have match commentary on the internet.... it isn't common, but it does happen.

Some clubs do offer free commentary still.... West Ham, Sunderland, etc.

Bollocks to PTV and their "World" scheme!

I'm sure Holyjoe will back me up in saying there's only one team in Britain.

The mighty Aberdeen.
