Anybody know where I can buy a bit of turkey? Maybe not a whole one (I don't have an oven), but some turkey pieces and I'll try and barbecue the thing.

Also, cranberries anywhere?

Thanks Smile

Turkey: Go to Carrefore (sp) at the World Cup stadium, you can buy already cooked legs.
CB: Hannam supermarket sells them.

HAND Smile

p.s. I'm doing a big bird with all the fixings on Saturday.

I believe you can order a pre-cooked turkey at the Hotel Intercontinental Grand in the basement....costs about 100,000 won though.........saves the hassle of cooking and salmonella, etc......

Howdy!

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Seoul puts on a swell Thanksgiving/Halloween party. For more info do a search on pcfind.com.

Until next time,

Turkey is too dry and tasteless. Maybe one day I'll teach you Canucks what real food is.

Aah...sweet cheese fondue...

Jaderedux, I have a confession.

In 1997 I had 5 thanksgiving meals over 4 days.

Never again.

Of course, as alwyas I stayed away from the sweets-because FAT people habitually eat weets.

kiwiboy, I would do a poll but I'm too damn lazy.

Apart from the religious connotations [or you can throw them in if you want] what is your favourite holiday.

I say this because mine falls on Thanksgiving, princess.

Or you could refuse to answer such a kindhearted question-ingrates!

Last thanksgiving in Korea my son and I went to Subway for turkey subs. But when I got home in July I got a big turkey dinner so it was great!

I repeat: TURKEY IS NOT GOOD FOOD.

Chicken is better.

Better than chicken is Portuguese chicken.

Sauce.

Flavour.

Taste.

All of which turkey does not have.

I've cooked 2 turkeys in my time in Korea. . .it's worth the time and expense. Having a great turkey dinner with friends is a treat.
