I'm looking for a decent clean safe little motel for me and my Honey Bear to spend a weekend in Seoul - preferable near Central City, Apgujang or thereabouts. Would like to limit the damage to about W50k a night or so - so we can spend more on other stuff.
Is that price range possible - for a decent place?
Any recommendations for nice places?
Might even consider Itaewon area.
All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Maybe I can get my bear coat dry cleaned before the cold weather comes? |

Okay, since there was an overwhelming response - how about the Itaewaon or downtown areas?
What's a bear to do?
Thanks!

Not quite sure if I am providing info or not, but once I came here to Korea in Seoul the first couple of nights I stayed at a middle grade yogwan for 30,000 a night and from there it appears there are better yogwans all around, such as in Shinchon that easily should go for 50 or under. It really isn't necessary to have the name of the place you really want before you come, I think it's better to just sleep it out one or two nights anyplace, then look around and find nicer ones. |

There are some extremely nice looking rooms (judging by the photos of them on the banners outside) clustered around the Eo Ville Officetel, near Nambu Bus Terminal Subway station. They're technically 'love hotels' I think, but the pictures looked really, really nice. Dunno the price, but I'd be surprised if it was more than 50K-100K. |
