Another one for the musicians in SK:
What do you think the going rate for a Mosrite or sound-alike/knock off is in SK?
Medium-sized amp and basic distortion pedal prices?
I cant bring my guitar with me. Its - um unique and would be troublesome with customs (it has nails through it and is customized in a spooky way plus its time for me to get a new one and not bringing it would give me an excuse to just do that).
Any guesstimates would be appreciated.
Cheers,

The Korean brand with the best reputation is Cort. You can get a good super-strat Cort in Nakwon for 300,000. Pretty good guitar.
I never priced the amps here but anything Korean made will be cheap enough. |

Mosrites tend to go for over a grand (new) here. I think they ceased making them, then Semmi (sic?) died and his family started in with making them. Need to be special ordered.
They have a delicious trebely crunch to them when played fuzz and a sweet twang when played fairly clean: exactly what Im looking for.
2.5 million. Hmmmm. Special ordering one from overseas and shipping it to SK and then paying the tariff would render the price higher (in the US theyre about 2 million won) so I also dont want to travel to Sk with one, but could easily leave with one Hmmmm.
Thanks for the input - it's appreciaed!
Cheers,

I have some old crybabys and if I knew I could re-sell a Martin D-28 for a profit, I'd buy one and bring it over to sell when my contract starts next month. Think it would work? |
