I simply can't remember and thought I'd ask. How much time do you get on a landing visa if you're American? My visa will expire in December, I'm off to Thailand for a week, then back for a short stay before leaving permanently to the states.

30 days is all. I think you can pay a fee to some office and have it extended by a month, don't recall how much but it's cheaper than flying out again and returning for another 30 days.
