Hi, this is my first post here but i've been reading the eslcafe forums for about a year (yes, it's taken me a long time to get round to applying).

So anyway, I emailed my resume to worknplay yesterday, got a phone call this morning, and just got offered a job.

I'm a little overwhelmed. Just wondering if any of you knew of worknplay or Icheon city, and whether they are, yknow, good?

Many thanks for any replies...

K

Icheon City,

pretty small, but friendly. About 50 minutes from the south of Seoul (Express bus terminal). Two bus companies run buses every 20 and 30 minutes respectively.

It has a great pottery festival. Also, there is a nice mountain and a really nice park around it. It does has one McDonald's, several pizza places including Pizza Hut and a Dunkin Donuts. It also has an Emart (Korean Walmart).

Not particularily interesting, but not a bad place if you are looking for a city of about 100000 people. Like I said, people are friendly, but do not expect many people to be able to speak English.

Hey thanks for that, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a definite no-no, and what with it's proximity to Seoul there's always weekends to party...
