I found a small black market in Sinchon in case you don't want to go to Itaewon. The woman has the usual American products: Booze, Campbell's Soups, Velveta cheese, Camel smokes, etc etc...

It's across the street from the department store, the less busy side of Sinchon, near where the yeogwans are. It's outside under a small arcalade next to a small grocery mart. There's a Buy The Way on the corner of the same street.

Sincheon's also a pretty good place to find some pretty OK bars where you aren't obliged to buy overpriced side dishes if you ever want to get away from the foreigner places in itaewon and hongdae.

And really really great spicy chimdak in one place...

Sinchon and Sincheon are different places. I think we are both referring to Sinchon.

Was referring to the place whose station on the green line vaguely near the Olympic Sports complex and Lotte World. Don't live in Seoul do I don't know anywhere near every dong, but GF lives near there and have had some good times when she dragged me there.
