Hi there,

If an employer and employee agree to break a contract will the, then, former employee have problems getting another job? By this I mean will the Korean Immigration officials give the person a hard time?

Just wondering,

K-in-C

If you have done this before please PM me some details. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Smile

If you've agreed (mutually) to terminate the contract there should be no problems. Just make sure that your employer goes to immigration and keeps it all on the up-and-up.

Make sure a release letter is signed by the employer to realease the employee from the contract.

Yes this is very important as it should indicate not only to immigration but your next employer that you did not leave your last job on bad terms.

At some point your future employer will very probably seek information on you from your former employer. So try to leave on the best possible terms without of course letting them walk all over you.
