Did some reading on the posts from 'Peter Jackson'. Seems to fit if it's a Canadian teacher + BA + Teacher's Cert + working in Vietnam + Yongin + Gwangju Jeollnam do + International School. Damn. Farked up.

Of course the profile passed onto Interpol was based on this Chris Neil in Korea. If Chris Neil and Peter Jackson match up it's one thing, but the big one is matching Neil to the guy in the pedo photos.

A poster here that goes by the name of "Len8" said so. Razz

And Kermo agrees.
Dunno if the pedo is Chris Neil, but Peter Jackson definitely is Chris Neil.

Thanks in advance.

-bit of a cop out to suggest the fault is with some sort of genetic condition?

everyone knows right and wrong and is responsible for what they do in life.

Hope they find him and throw away the key.

Whatever happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'? He is only a suspect at this point right?

I've never met the person in question, but I doubt he's some sort of Interpol-dodging 'Jason Borne' ESL teacher.. he'll be questioned soon enough and the truth will come out.

Three points.

1. "Innocent until proven guilty" is an American concept. It certainly does not apply universally. I have no idea how the legal systems in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, etc. view suspects.

2. More importantly, it is a LEGAL concept. The government (in this case American) cannot imprison you and take away your liberty until you have been convicted in a court of law. It has nothing to do with public opinion. People are free to think whatever they want (and in this case I think "Peter Jackson" is guilty as hell) because they don't have the power to take away your liberty at gunpoint.

3. Many innocent people have been convicted by a court and many guilty people have been exonerated. Again, it only shows that "innocent until proven guilty" is relevant to the court.

You are free to think what you want and I certainly respect your desire to wait until this plays out before making up your mind. However, based on what I've read and seen on the news, I personally think this guy is one sick bastard and is guilty of what he is accused. Just my two cents.

its not a cop out but it must be true! if he didnt have those demon thoughts then he wouldnt do what he did, and that goes for every person in the world who does things of that nature.. there is a chemical inbalance in there somewhere which is set on auto accept! when a bad thought like that enters his head, he automatically justifies it as being acceptable! and proceeds to do it.. nothing to do with responsibility, he has Sexual urges which is making him not think straight! he is mental!!
