My mother has been sending me Yasmin through FedEx or DHL for over a year. NEVER any problems.

I was considering this, seemed easier but I wonder if anyone has come across Loestrin 24 in SK at all?

ALERT for anyone on Diane 35....I've been taking it for four years (I know, I know, way too long, but I have bad acne and this clears it up) and I went to the pharmacy today and suddenly you need a prescription for Diane....sooo weird that it's so sudden....
so I tried another pharmacy and same thing.

So, I'm out of Diane. What is similar to Diane for clearing up acne? I've read about Alesse and Orthotricyclen for treating acne....does anyone take those in Korea?

Freaking out!

I know this might be a little off-topic, but any girls here with an IUD? I'm getting one inserted a week before I leave for Korea, and I'd like to have it checked out by a doctor about a month after I've been there. Any experiences with being in Korea with an IUD?

I live in England and I will just get a year's supply of my pill. If I end up staying another year I think I would just go to the doctor whilst I make my 2 week trip home. I wouldn't self-prescribe any medication especially ones which could change my mood at the drop of a hat!

p.s. you been on the pill for 4 years? I've been on it for 6!!!

Does anyone know whether Alesse is available in Korea or what the Korean version is? If there is a similar one available in Korea does anyone have any opinions they want to share or experiences?

Thanks

I had an IUD a few years ago, the Mirena. It's good for 5 years and releases a low level of hormones directly into the uterus. My periods were already super-light after being on the Pill for about 15 years, but totally stopped with the Mirena (the other type tends to have the opposite effect). I forget the cost, but it was considerably cheaper than getting one in Canada.

One note: it's recommended for women who have already had a child. I haven't, so the insertion was extremely painful and I had major cramps for a couple of days afterwards.

Anyone know of a Korean brand like Tri-levelen? I've gained so much weight on Mercilon over the past 2 years... Sad

Hey I'm running out of pills prescribed in the UK.

Does anyone know of any pills similar to Loestrin? I want the lowest hormone dose possible.

Thanks!

Anyone seen anything comparable to Seasonique over there? I'm a bit particular about mine because I'm using it to treat Endometriosis. I more than likely will have another 3 month pack from my OB/GYN before I leave, but if I can have an idea of what is over there so I can coordinate with her so I can know what to ask for, it would be wonderful. The drug hormone is levonorgestrel/ethinyl estradiol tablets) 0.15 mg/0.03mg (weeks 1-12) and (ethinyl estradiol tablets) 0.01 mg ( for week 13).

I take something called "21" that's made by wyeth, but it's not anywhere on the website...it's one of those ones where it's the same dose every day, but other than that I know nothing about it. I couldn't find my old kind over here, so I just gave up. If you're really attached, I'd bring a year's supply, but to me it wasn't worth the $300 difference between buying in the US and Korea.

Mericilon--Irish brand, works great. It's only 7,000 won a pack. If you go into a store, the pharmacist will only give you two months worth. But hey, three months for $30+ USD at home with prescription, compared to 14,000 (2pks) without.
