I went to the dentist today and discovered that I have a bad cavity and 6 others! I may need a root canal! I have been here only a year and a half, and I had a clean exam right before I came here.

According to my dentist, only 2 cities in Korea have flouride treatment in their water, and Seoul isn't one of them. I regret eating all those sweet snacks the kids gave me and not brushing more. Ahhhh! This sucks!

I think she said it was about 120,000 per cavity including gold.

Actually this may have occurred after mishalerts comments that there was "no solid, scientific evidence to back up the claim that if a person has amalgam fillings removed, he or she will be cured of these or any other diseases" so this is probably more recent info and it would pay to be careful I think with cheap fillings. I read in this post recently http://cureyeast-infection.com/chronic-yeast-infections-or-mercury-poisoning-symptoms/, (and in other places) that the FDA was forced to recently admit "metal dental fillings containing mercury can cause health problems in pregnant women, children and fetuses"
