AKA my job is driving me crazy.
Apologies but I'm having an angry rant.
So I was lying in bed this morning catching that last bit of sleep before I have to get up and go to work.
At around 8.30 I get this phone call. After finally locating my cellphone I pick up and find out that today I will be moving apartments, but you get the day off kindy (as if this makes things better).
As 10 the director's hubbie and some guys come around and start moving stuff. At this time I have barely got all my clothes packed. The directors husband picks up a bucket which had all my delicates in that I had put to soak last night. He throws out the water and the clothes are chucked into a bag with my clean clothes.
I find that chocolate syrup as leaked down the back of my fridge as I grab stuff out of the fridge to take with me. I left the place in such a mess for the new tenants, I actually feel very ashamed.
I have just enough time to move my stuff before I'm taken to school to start work.
My current job stats are
Number of different timetables for this month: 10
Apartments lived in: 3
Schools worked in: 3
Days left in current contract: 42 thank christ!

Do you think they're going to fire you or try and make you quit? From your posts it seems they are deliberately making your worklife and living conditions chaotic.
Brace for impact. |

The bizzare thing is she could have got rid of me a lot easier 3 weeks ago when she sold one of the schools.I really do think my director is really that incomptent rather than evil. I am discovering there is a fine line between the two.
But I'm sure she'll put up a fight over severance. Just like christmas, hogwons have time honoured traditions.

Same thing happened to me last year. On a moment's notice, "You change apartments!"
The owner of the apartment found out there was a foreigner living there so she came up will all manners of excuses to cancel the lease. She eventually said that she was moving in there herself, but in the middle of the move, with boxes all over and movers going in and out, she dropped by with a new tenant to inspect the place.
I'm a bit concerned this year too. The lease will come up for my new place in March and a mudang already predicted another move for this year.
I sympathize with you CLG. |

But did you have to wake me up too?
Full sympathies though. |

yes misery loves company. Esp. now I don't have a phone
the new apartment is better, but to be honest not worth getting a phone call at 8.30 saying have your stuff ready to go in 90 minutes.

This is a good reason why it is nice to get your OWN apartment and have your school fork over housing money. |

I always see posts where people are venting about their school. I'm new to the forum so maybe it's tabu to do so, but why not mention the name of the school so that others may know to stay away from them....just wondering... |
Simply because I still work there. I promise to name names later.

Do you make them feel bad or do you just go along with it all with a cooperative smile on your face? Just curious. I"d make them feel guilty. |
