I usually bring chocolate for women and Finlandia Vodka (60% alcohol content) for men. So far I haven't met a Korean man who hasn't liked vodka. Most of them do complain that 60% is too strong, but they still drink it like soju... which is kinda funny as they become drunk so quickly. The only downside of this is that I usually have to drink with them, which isn't a downside at all!

i bought a fancy box of chocolates and a 30 dollar whisky. but upon reflection i thought these may not be appropriate for a woman. well the chocolates are fine, but i dont know if theres some kind of taboo against giving alcohol to women or something.

anyways, should i wrap this stuff up or just hand it to her? has anyone ever had problems bringing alcohol through airport security or customs?
