Yes, the system can be slow at times. Even mods, who are also users, have to contend with the slowness. With that said, please only hit the submit button once when posting, as doing so more than once will cause multiple posts (and even multiple threads in the case of being an OP). Chances are, if you hit the submit button and your post just hangs there, it still has been posted. Thank you for your consideration.

I will repeat this: Only hit the "submit" button once! If you do so, your post will be posted, even if your browser still sits on your--supposedly--unposted post. Every time you hit the "submit" button after that will post your message again and again, which is something I or another mod have to remove. Please do everyone a favor and only hit the button once. Thank you.
