Just wanted to pass it along to the board.

Jongnoguru passed away in October of 2009 due to a motorcyle accident in Seoul. (His initials are J.J. from the U.K. to those who think they knew him)

R.I.P. to him, from all who met or knew him.

Now that is sad.

He was in the top 1% of posters.

I didn't know him in real life, but I would have liked to.

I guess the reaper comes for us all one day.

I'm shocked.

He was the funniest poster on the board, and one I wish I had met.

Bummer.

Cheers, Jongno Guru. RIP.

Terrible shame. He was a fun and informative presence on this board. One of those guys that just seemed to add that much more to anything he chose to contribute to. RIP Jongno Guru. You'll be missed.

Very shocking and sad news.

Jongno Guru was a very knowledgeable, intelligent and witty poster. He'd lived here a long time, knew a lot about the place and seemed to genuinely love the country.

Rest In Peace, Jongno Guru.

You will be missed.

Sorry to hear that. I really liked him and his posts.

Um, you know any details about the accident? Was it his fault or did he get run over by a bus or a taxi? Anyway, thanks for passing the news. Crying or Very sad

Sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Would this have been the accident that bassexpander posted about that happened on the 28th?
