I am playing modern warfare 2 on my xbox 360 and it is really irritating me.

it plays godawful music constantly and there is no way to turn it off!

I did some google searching and discovered that you can delete the music file on the pc version.

more google searching and I cannot find how to play the game on my pc.

I don't want to play on line, just single player.

now, I am thinking, if I torrent the pc game then install it then plug in my usb controller then that should work. am I missing a step?

thanks very much in advance for all your help.

As long as you are fine playing a cracked version of the game, you should be good to go.

By the way, what kind of shit game doesn't have an option to mute/adjust background music?

I wonder if a soldier in a real war on earth was busy killing the enemy and suddenly thought......wait!, something is missing here, ....oh wait! I don't hear background music!!! what the hell!!!! then he puts in his mp3 headphones

what were they thinking when they made modern warfare 2????

They were thinking it should be like a movie. That's why there's so much music in it.

While some people gave up on realism when they saw their M16 was actually an MX518, others turned down the music in the options menu and continued living the dream.

Should I assume that the gamers on this thread already know about DayZ and simply aren't interested? It's great fun and there's a small group of us looking to add some more people...just getting started so the com situation isn't resolved...but teaming up has been great fun so far. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out this video...this guy does a good job of showing why the game is fun and worth playing.
