If by "the MAN" you mean "the MORON", then yeah.

Say what you will about the man, but he knows how to turn a profit. He has more knowledge about making money in his pinky finger than you, I and everyone on this board put together. Don't hate.

He also knows how to declare bankrupcy by doing it 4 times. I'm less sure than you are that this is an enviable knowledge set to possess.

I also see that you place making a profit as an extremely high priority. Possibly the highest, since that is the only one you mention. While that may be desirable in a CEO, a president is not in charge of a profit-making enterprise. Presidents influence an economy, they do not control one. There could also be something of a problem with electing a president who started life by inheriting $40 million and putting him in charge of a national economy where there is close to 9% unemployment...it's a matter of being in contact with the general public's situation.

But aside from all that, the man is a clown. He was humiliated in public on Wednesday and again on Saturday. You can butter him now because he is toast.

Do presidents actually 'run the country' in the US anymore to the extent that a lot of people still believe they do?

Hey, Reagan did it. He was pretty effective on the world stage too. The man was brilliant to come up with that defense. "I don't recall". Credited for ending the cold war anyway. What really bothers me is not if Trump could become POTUS, but what the hell are we going to do if he gets us in a war with China over that crap.

And I am voting for our current POTUS.

He made a casino go bankrupt. A CASINO!

The only thing he is consistently excellent at is self-promotion. Some people look up to a cult of personality, and it ain't others with any business sense.

I don't hate him. I like clowns. But let's not fool ourselves as to what he really is and has been.

He should be called Donald Dump.
He can't even purchase a half decent run for his crome dome. I bet he's balder than Kojak with that little turf on his head.

Reagan also pushed the world closer to nuclear war than it had been since Kennedy.

Trump bemoaned U.S. costs sustained during its wars in the Middle East and floated the idea of "taking" Iraqi oil. Stephanopoulos countered incredulously, "So, we steal an oil field?" Trump responded, "Excuse me. You're not stealing anything. You're taking we're reimbursing ourselves."

Can't....stop....laughing....sorry
