I have some wooden underwater hockey sticks that I would like to make copies of for other people to use. The design is fairly basic and should be easy to replicate. However, I do not know where in Seoul I can go to have someone draw and cut out the pattern. Any suggestions?
Thanks |

I've seen some DIY woodworking type shops before in Seoul (can't recall where, or I'd let you know). You can have furniture, etc. custom made there. Perhaps someone at one of these places could help you - or at least refer you to someone who could. Ask a Korean friend if there are any of these shops in your area.
Good luck. |

underwater hockey is usually played in a standard swimming pool,,which requires fins, mask and snorkel. However, the rental fees can be extensive as people like to use the pool for swimming laps. On the other hand, it can also be played with scuba gear in pools such as Jamsil and Olympic, which opens up the game because the players are not required to come up for air. On the opposite side, scuba diving pools will not allow permit people to use them unless they are with a scuba diving instructor. I guess that one of the perks I have after getting my scuba instructor certification.
The wood on the sticks i used held up fine. No warming. However, the paint is starting to chip though. This is another thing that pools do not like. However, since most people are required to wear a swimming cap, separate colors for opposing teams works just fine. |

I'm with Suwon Fish. I'd love to get into playing octopush. If you use those sticks let me know if I can join. I've got all the basic dive gear (and scuba cert if you do it with bubbles), sans stick and glove. But I could make that happen easily enough. |
