Is an MA in Communications studies or Journalism useless in he world of ESL?
What if you have a lot of writing experience, a TEFL cert, and teaching experience?
Just curious if the MA in this area will even matter with regards to EFL jobs and pay. |

I doubt it, my original degree is in Business and Financial Risk Management. Not a lot of need for that in the real world. |

What were you SAT's like? You could find a market as a SAT teacher, with the writing background. THe New SAT starts in 2005.

Definately not useless in Korea!
I have a BA in Journalism, and it has been a good selling point. I know it helped me get my current gig, because they are having me teach some writing classes, too.
MA would be even better. |
