| It doesn't matter - this is the Philippines! People just do whatever they want here and nobody cares. I think the country has started a new slogan geared to tourists saying "It's more fun in the Philippines". |

| The whole thing of people careing what others think has always baffled me, it seems to assume that the other people are actually capable of thinking. Especially over 40, who cares. |

Or you could go to place that has all those things and isn't a sex driven hell hole. All the families I saw there were Russian or Korean. In the case of Koreans, they're definitely there due to a dependence on group travel and a lack of knowledge about Thailand in general. The only thing that Pattaya might have on some of the other beach destinations near BKK is its shopping mall, and if you're coming from Korea it's not as if that's ome ind of novelty anyway. |
