|
|
Can anyone on this site recommend a North American or North American
trained Korean dentist in Seoul ? The last two Korean dentists I visited did
an incompetent and damaging job, the most recent dentist being the one
who runs the Itaewon Dental Clinic. Since I'm aching all over the lower left
side of my face, the several brands of Korean pain killers I've tried failing
to work, I'd appreciate a quick and helpful reply. Thanks. |

unfortunate- I've had a lot of dental work here and its usually been fairly satisfactory,- from the private clinics that are everywhere. |

I heard that Issarn dentists use treatments that cause one's hair to fall out
in the center of the scalp. I think they exist only in Thailand. |

I have a good dentist in Kangnam, she is good but she is not cheap. You'll like her - Dr. Kim Min Hee.
I need some major restoration and i'll be travelling to Poland to have it done. |

Mokdong Ye Dentist is good. I can't remember how to get to it. It is Mokdong or Omokgyo station, and I believe it is on the local map at the station. They are open on Sundays. |

Thanks for your replies, dear readers.
I found an excellent dental surgeon in
Gunpo, Kyonggi-do where I reside and
work. Good luck in your major restoration
in Poland. |

My dentist in Gunpo had to refer me to an excellent orthodontist
at Sacred Heart Hospital,Hallym University in Pyeongchon, #4 line.
I've been undergoing superb treatment at an ultra-modern,well facilitated,
and well-staffed place. With the health insurance card the cost is so low. |

How much is not cheap?
I chipped my fucking tooth today so made an appointment with her. I have insurance but my boss was unsure whether a chipped tooth would be covered. |

Ill be taking care of a cracked tooth after the current procedure is taken
care of. If a crown or a cap is required health insurance should cover it.
Health insurance is covering my orthodontic treatment, but not the crown
itself which runs at 200,000 won. Everything done prior in several visits
costs about 50,000 won in my case. |

I'm saving a lot more money here than I would in Canada or anywhere else in
the industrially developed world for what I'm receiving: 8 daily injections of
anti-biotics, irrigation treatment, and grinding. The total cost thus far is under 25%
of what it would be back home. |
