Sorry if this has been discussed in detail, my search won't work for some reason today and I have not found a thread yet.
Basically, I want to have a phone when I move to SK (in less than two weeks) but I do not want to be raped out my yang in service costs.
I have done some research on my current service, T-Mobile, and looked into Skype as an alternative. The main thing I am looking to do is make a phone call back to the states; possibly to network in South Korea.
Any info or points in the correct direction are greatly apprciated! |

Get a used flip phone (10-30k) and go pay as you go, probably 10-20k a month, depending if you talk a lot. Use skype on computer to call back home, I pay I think 6k a month for unlimited calling back to USA on skype. |

If you get an iphone or can bring an unlocked one, you can download the app Talkatone and use a google voice number to call for free over Wifi, or so I believe |
