Yes, all the infants and geriatrics are out fire-bombing Japanese companies.

Japan is stepping up its patrols.

Quote:
While it is not yet clear whether 1-thousand Chinese fishing boats will make their way towards the disputed Senkaku or Diaoyu Islands as reported earlier by Chinese media, Japan has deployed 50 patrol ships to the area in the East China Sea.
This according to Japanese daily Asahi Shimbun Wednesday, a day after Beijing sent a dozen surveillance vessels to a zone near the islands.

Could Asia really go to war over these islands?

No. But the hardening tensions and eroded trust will prove toxic to Asian relations to come.

Of course, Asians could start being honest and balanced in their history textbooks.

Things don't seem to be cooling down.

Quote:
Three Chinese ships entered what Japan considers its territorial waters near disputed islands in the East China Sea on Monday, the Japanese government said, prompting an official protest and renewed diplomatic efforts to cool tensions.

The move comes a day after China called off celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the normalization of ties between the Asia's largest economies and as officials from China's ruling Communist Party, due to arrive in Tokyo on Monday, canceled their trip.
