If you try their URL (www.atek.co.kr), it is dead. I thought these guys were going to transform Korea into a workers paradise?

Read all about ATEK's demise. It's a 3 part series.

A fairer take than 3 Monkeys...

http://roboseyo.blogspot.ca/2012/03/atek-eulogy.html

The demise of ATEK was obvious and became unavoidable when the organisation became more about people wanting to assert power than about actually focusing and helping people on a reasonable scale.

First you'd have to take a refresher class on grammar and punctuation. But I think you might be able to squeeze one out in between all of your competition runs. Wink

Didn't someone involved get kicked out of Korea? They tried to keep it hushed up and pretend that they were still in Korea but eventually word got out. No one ever told the entire story, though. At least that was the rumor. What has anyone else heard?

Isn't it "funny" that just as Korea started requiring police background checks that some prominent expat teachers, including well-known bloggers, suddenly decided to hang it up and leave Korea? The timing was curious. But maybe it was all a coincidence for all of them. Surprised

No, I haven't heard this, but I hope it's not true; enjoyed listening to the podcast. Which one allegedly got booted?

AFAIK, they're just busy. I know one of the guys, and we were all hanging around and someone asked about it and his response was something along the lines of "yeah, haven't done one in a while, should get back on that." Nothing sinister, just busy.
