Anyone got any idea how to go about reserving spots in these shelters? I'm trying to organise a 2-day hike hitting Daecheongbong for sunrise on the 2nd day. I'm reading that the shelters are limited and must be pre-booked, but I can't find anything online about how to do it.
Thanks |

Yup, you can do it from the KNPS website. Here is a link to the reservation area: https://res.knps.or.kr/nationalparkeng/loginfrm.aspx Just fill in your name and email and then it will take you to a page where you can reserve shelters for Seoraksan, Jirisan, and Deogyusan. Once on that page, just go to the "reserve others" link. Then you can select the mountain you want to reserve a shelter at.
If you are trying to reserve it for this month though, good luck as at least right now, everything is booked up.
I do recommend that course though and the sunrise as it's incredible.
Hope this helped. |
